Amazing No Cooking Required Recipe (Part 3) - Crab roll

Crab roll

We used a mixture of tinned and fresh crab for added flavour, while keeping costs low

·         Hands-on time 10min

·         Serves 4

Ingredient

·         1 very ripe avocado, peeled and de-stoned

·         50g (2oz) mayonnaise

·         1tbsp natural yogurt

·         350g (12oz) crab meat - fresh or tinned

·         A few drops Tabasco sauce

·         Finely grated zest and juice of 1 lime

·         3tbsp roughly chopped fresh chives

·         4 brioche rolls, or 8 slices of brioche

Recipe

1.    In a food processor, or with a stick blender, whiz together the avocado and mayonnaise. Add yogurt. Transfer mixture to a large bowl and stir through the crab, Tabasco, lime zest and juice and most of the chives.

2.    Toast your brioche rolls or slices. Divide the crab mix among them, then top with remaining chives and serve with crisps and salad, if you like.

Per serving 398cals, 25g fat (6g saturates), 20g carbs (5g total sugars), 21g protein, 2g fiber
