Shamrock smoothie

Serves one. Save the other half of the banana, cucumber and avocado for a second Shamrock Smoothie

Shamrock smoothie

Ingredients

·         ½ banana Wash cucumber and romaine well and chop.

·         ½ cucumber Peel and cut banana and avocado.

·         6 romaine leaves Blend all ingredients together with the lemon

·         ½ avocado juice, coconut water and ice cubes.

·         Juice of 1 lemon

·         60-1 25ml coconut water

·         Ice cubes, optional

Directions

1.    Wash cucumber and romaine well and chop.

2.    Peel and cut banana and avocado.

3.    Blend all ingredients together with the lemon juice. coconut water and Ice cubes

Green detox soup

Serves four

Description: Green detox soup

Green detox soup

Ingredients

·         2 tbsp olive oil

·         1 leek

·         2 cloves garlic

·         1 small head of broccoli

·         6 kale leaves

·         1-2 courgettes

·         2 celery stalks

·         1I of vegetable stock

·         Handful of parsley

·         Sea salt and pepper

Directions

1.    Wash and chop all veggies.

2.    Heat the oil on a low heat. Add leeks and garlic and cook slowly.

3.    Add the stock and vegetables (courgettes, kale, broccoli, celery), and slowly bring to a boil, cooking until the courgette is soft.

4.    The less you cook the vegetables, the better. Add salt and pepper to taste.

5.    Blend the soup to desired consistency. Add the parsley and serve.
