Perfect Recipe For Healthy People (Part 2) - Masala popcorn

Masala popcorn

·         Serves 1

·         Ready in 5 mins

Ingredient

·         1 tbsp corn kernels

·         1/2 tsp sea salt

·         1 tbsp chaat masala

For the Chaat Masala

·         1 pinch garam masala

·         1 pinch ground cumin

·         1 pinch ground fennel seeds

·         1 pinch ground ginger

·         1 pinch black pepper

·         1 pinch paprika

Recipe

·         To make the chaat masala mix, all the ingredients together.

·         Put the corn kernels in a nonstick saucepan over a medium heat and place the lid on top. As soon as you hear the corn start to pop, turn the heat down to low.

·         Remove when all corn has popped – about 45-60 seconds. Toss the freshly popped corn with the salt and chaat masala and place in a big bowl. You have full permission to eat the entire serving yourself!

·         Cook’s tip For different varieties of popcorn you could try adding 1 tsp of olive oil to the corn kernels in the pan. Once popped, remove from the heat and toss in 1 tbsp each of dried basil and dried oregano. For a sweet treat, add 1 tsp coconut oil mixed with 1 tsp vanilla extract to the corn kernels in the pan. Remove from heat and toss in pinch of cinnamon.
